Before you register...
At this year's AGM we are asking members to vote on some important decisions around YiS converting from a charity and a registered company into a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). A CIO is an incorporated structure designed for charities that is registered just with the Charity Commission and not Companies House, you can read our proposed new constitution below, read more about what a CIO is on Wikipedia and the reasons we are doing this are available here.
We will continue to uphold all the rules and good practice set by the Charities Commission but operationally it will make it easier for us to operate and deliver on our objectives.
As part of the registration for our AGM there is an option to join as a member so you can vote on these issues.
